Communicate and collaborate with your team using Cliq

As marketers, you work towards various goals for your brand, such as increasing awareness, generating leads, working on content marketing strategies, creating a strong social media plan to widen your audience, and much more. All of these activities require proper communication and collaboration across the marketing team and with other departments, such as product, sales, and support.

All users in your Marketing Plus account will have access to Cliq and can easily communicate with anyone in the organization. Here are some ways Cliq can help marketing teams:

Connect with team members

Cliq offers various ways to communicate with your team. You can collaborate with your team via chat or an audio or video call, as well as share your screen, send attachments, send voice messages or video messages, or share a recording of your screen.

Cliq also comes with a lot of ways in which you can collaborate with your entire team and other stakeholders.

Channels 

Channels on Cliq are the best way to collaborate with a large group in your organization and other external stakeholders such as partners or clients. The tool comes with various roles and permissions and access controls that you can configure based on your team's requirements. You can create the following types of channels:
  1. Organization: This space enables anyone in your organization to join and collaborate as one, but your admin can configure its visibility such that it's open to all or available only to specific invitees. 
  2. Personal: These channels are private, and their members have to be invited to join.
  3. External: These channels can include collaborators who aren't part of your organization, such as clients, vendors, partners, and so on.
For example, let's say you want the marketing and support teams to collaborate and work on various tasks. To facilitate this, you can create an organization channel for both teams and use it to initiate various discussions. You can add the teams manually and keep the channel private, or you can keep it open for all and let interested team members search for and join the channel.
 
Or let's say you want to collaborate with your partners regarding various meetups and workshops. You can create an external channel called #Partner Discussions and invite all your partners to be part of the channel.
 
Continue your conversation as a thread: Since channels usually consist of numerous team members from various departments, not all of them are involved in every conversation. To continue conversations in a channel with only the concerned members, Cliq lets you create a thread so that interested participants can continue the conversation without bombarding the entire channel with messages and notifications. You can also create a call involving only the participants in the thread.


Groups

A group conversation on Cliq enables you to collaborate with selected members of your team. They're private and don't involve roles or permissions, unlike channels. You can create a group to collaborate with a small selection of team members on various tasks. For example, a social media marketer can create a group conversation with the design team to collaborate on various social media collateral.


Schedule meetings

Cliq enables you to schedule audio or video meetings. You can manually invite all the participants, add hosts, and speakers, or invite everyone from a group, channel, or a thread. You can also create an instant meeting right away and share the invite with your team.


Manage all your files  

Cliq makes it easy to access all the files shared across conversations. In the Files tab, you can view all the images, videos, audio, and other files—including documents, compressed files, spreadsheets, presentations, and so on. You can also view all your audio and video meeting recordings in one place.


The search bar in Cliq helps you find what you're looking for, whether it's a conversation with a team member, a message in a specific channel, or a link or attachment someone shared. You can also search for messages based on a date and locate messages from a particular date and time.


A remote work dashboard 

When you're at the office, you start your day by checking in and meeting up with your team. Since you're seeing them in person, you know who's available for discussion, who's gone to lunch, and who's in a meeting. But how do you get this experience while working remotely?

With the help of Cliq's Remote Work features, you can check-in for the day and manage your availability status. Cliq can also show when someone's on a call or in a meeting, as well as who's at the office, who's away, and when your meetings are scheduled for.


Widgets and extensions 

Cliq also enables you to create and set up various widgets based on your requirements. You can create bots to automate certain tasks, use slash commands as shortcuts to perform various tasks, configure message actions, set up custom functions, and much more. You can also install various extensions from the Zoho Marketplace to integrate Cliq with countless third-party applications.
