The "Join Before Host" option in Zoho Meeting allows participants to start a meeting before the host arrives, facilitating smoother and more flexible meeting management.This feature is available at both individual and organizational levels, allowing for customized modifications and set standardized company policies.
How to setup 'Join Before Host' at organization level
1. Open Settings in Zoho Meeting.
2. Navigate to the Organization
3. Click on Meeting to view and modify the settings.
4. Locate the option labeled Allow participants to join before the host and enable it. This will allow participants to start the meeting before the host arrives.
Note:
Ensure that auto-lock and end-to-end encryption are not enabled in settings , as "Join Before Host" will not function if auto-lock is active. If auto-lock is enabled, you will need to deactivate it to use the 'Join Before Host' option.
Attendees can only attend 1 hour before the scheduled meeting time.
If the settings are secured by the administrator, users cannot make modifications to the settings.
