The Zoho Meeting Desktop app does not open on my Linux OS. What is wrong?

In Linux, when a user downloads the Zoho Meeting desktop app, the permission to execute the downloaded app is disabled. This makes it impossible for the user to run the app after downloading it, and displays an error as shown below.

Please follow the steps below to enable the permission to run the app and you'll be able to use the Zoho Meeting desktop app on your Linux.

1. Right-click the downloaded app and select Properties  > Permissions.

2. Enable the checkbox for Allow executing file as program.

Note
If you use Ubuntu 16.04 LTS or lower and you are unable to open the Zoho Meeting Desktop app even after following the steps mentioned above, please  update your outdated Network Security Services library.
