How to setup AVSDK

Zoho Meeting's AV SDK is a feature that can be used by developers to integrate Zoho Meeting's capabilities directly into their applications. With this SDK, developers can incorporate most core functionalities, such as participants info, screen sharing, and meeting recording.

Here’s a list of features currently available and those that are not:

Available features:

  • Audio
  • Video
  • Screen Sharing
  • Reactions
  • Lock Meeting
  • Recording
  • Picture-in-Picture (PIP)
  • Fullscreen Mode
  • Invite Participants
  • Layout Options
  • Settings

Not available features:

  • Chat
  • Whiteboard
  • Share Material
  • Notes
  • Polls
  • Assign Co-host
  • Breakout Rooms


Note: AVSDK has its own planning and pricing structure that is distinct from the standard and professional plans.

To set up AVSDK:

1. Navigate to Settings > Integration > SDK.

2. Click Try Now. This opens the AV SDK setup page.
Note: Initially, users will be credited with 10,000 free minutes; once the user has exhausted the free minutes, they will be charged $0.0025 per minute.
3. Register your domain. You can use your existing domain that has already been registered and verified by clicking on 'use my custom domain' text link. If you're entering a new domain, our support team will verify it.


4. Click Configuration > Register client. Here, the user can generate a token using Zoho's API console. This console provides OAuth credentials that allow the user to develop applications using our APIs. Obtain your OAuth credentials to start embedding your meetings.


5. After registering, integrate the SDK within your app. Use the generated access token to integrate the SDK into your application.Click here to access our API docs.
