Integrating Zoho WorkDrive with Zoho Meeting

Zoho WorkDrive is a cloud-based tool for team collaboration. It serves as a centralized platform for creating, storing, and sharing files, and enhances productivity and teamwork.

Zoho Meeting + Zoho WorkDrive
When integrating Zoho WorkDrive with Zoho Meeting, meeting recordings can be configured to save automatically to a designated folder within WorkDrive.
This integration is available to users of bundled plans, including Zoho One, Zoho Workplace, Zoho Marketing Plus, and Zoho CRM Plus.
Steps to Configure Zoho WorkDrive integration

  1. From the left panel, click on Settings at the bottom of the menu.

  2. In the Settings section, expand the Integrations tab to view available integration options.

  3. Under Integrations, select Apps to access the list of applications for integration, and then choose Zoho WorkDrive.



 

4. In the Zoho WorkDrive section, click the Configure button.

5. Agree to the terms in the integration popup, then click Accept.



  • Upon integration, recordings will be accessible directly from Zoho WorkDrive.

  • Access to the destination folder in Zoho WorkDrive will be restricted to authorized users only.

6. Click Accept again in the Zoho WorkDrive access permission page




7. Select a folder from Zoho WorkDrive to configure the Integration.


 

Configuring storage Scope for the recordings  

You can change the storage scope by clicking on the edit icon under sync type.

When syncing Zoho Meeting recordings with Zoho WorkDrive, you can configure the storage scope to fit your organization's needs. The storage scope defines where the recordings will be stored and who has control over them. You can choose from three levels of configuration:


Select your desired storage scope: Organization, Department, or Member. Click Proceed to finalize the configuration.


NotesIf you choose Department the storage scope, department admins can set up a distinct folder for each department. If you select Member as the storage scope, each organization member can create a folder for personal use.

  • Organization Level
    All recordings across the organization will be stored in a designated folder in Zoho WorkDrive. Users can't modify these settings, ensuring that all meeting data is centrally managed and securely stored in one location.

  • Department Level
    Department admins can set up unique folders for their specific departments. This allows each department to have its own space while still maintaining some level of control over the recordings.

  • Member Level
    Each member within your organization can create and configure a folder for their own use. This allows individual users to manage their recordings independently, based on their personal preferences and storage needs.

If you choose Department as the storage scope, department admins can set up a distinct folder for each department. If you select Member as the storage scope, each organization member can create a folder for personal use.


How to Pause, Resume, and Uninstall Zoho WorkDrive Integration  

Resuming the Integration:  

Under Zoho WorkDrive, if the integration is paused, click the Resume button to reactivate syncing.

Pausing the Integration:  

Under Zoho WorkDrive, click the Pause button to temporarily stop syncing meeting recordings made after the integration.

After pausing, recordings will no longer sync to WorkDrive, but past recordings can still be accessed there.

Uninstalling the Integration:  

In the Zoho WorkDrive section, click the Uninstall button.

Once the integration is removed, the recordings can only be accessible from Zoho WorkDrive.

The recordings after the integration will be stored in the Zoho WorkDrive account, but you can still access them from the files tab in your meeting account.



  • Users access to view and share will be determined by the file permissions set in workdrive.

  • You can change the file permissions or set file permissions directly from here for recordings made after the integration.
