Add co-hosts

Using the co-host feature, the meeting host can share hosting capabilities with another user. Co-hosts have most of the meeting controls that includes ability to manage participants, lock meetings, provide screen sharing permission, starting and stopping the recording and more. Host can invite any members from their meeting organization as a co-host.

The option to add co-hosts, either during scheduling or in an ongoing meeting, is available in the paid editions of Zoho Meeting.

 

A Meeting co-host can:

 

  • Start a meeting

  • Allow or deny participants to share screen

  • Mute or unmute participants

  • Record the meeting

  • Remove participants from meeting

  • Lock meeting

  • Invite participants during the meeting

  • End the meeting for all participants

 

 

 

How-to

 

Add/Delete Co-hosts

  1. Log in to Zoho Meeting.

  2. Click Schedule a Meeting.

  3. Click More Options to choose co-hosts from your organization member list.

  4. Click Save. An email invitation with a link to join the meeting will be sent to the co-host.

  5. To delete any co-hosts, click Edit Meeting and click on the co-host name in the meeting details page.


Make Co-host during a meeting

  1.  Start your meeting.
  2.  Click Participants in the meeting controls at the bottom of the screen. 
  3.  Hover over the name of the participant and click More menu (three dots). 
  4.  Click Make Co-Host.
                                                        

Once a participant has been made a co-host, they will have the same meeting controls as the host.

Notes :

  • In the Standard edition of Zoho Meeting you can add up to two co-host, and you can add 5 co-hosts while scheduling and add more during meeting in the Professional edition of Zoho Meeting

  • Co-Hosts can view the meeting details from their account. However, they do not have an option to edit the meeting or embed the meeting.
