How to setup Zoho Meeting Rooms

Zoho Meeting Rooms 

 

Zoho Meeting Rooms is a video conferencing solution designed to make remote meetings and collaboration more efficient. Setting up virtual conference rooms will help organizations conduct video meetings with other rooms or with remote participants easily.


InfoRooms is an a add-on feature that is currently available only in the Zoho Meeting's Professional edition.

 

System Requirements for Zoho Rooms :

 

Zoho Rooms Display OS :

 

  • Windows 7 (Version 6.1 and above)

  • Mac OS X 10.10 and above

 

Zoho Rooms Controller :

 

Zoho Meeting - Rooms Controller is compatible with both iPhone and iPad (iOS version 13 and above)

 

Downloads required to set up Rooms :

 

  1. Log in to your Zoho Meeting account.

  1. Click Settings on the left pane.

  1. Navigate to Download Centre.

  1. Scan the QR code to download the Zoho Rooms - Controller and click the download button to download the Zoho Rooms - Display.

 

OR

 

Go to Zoho Meeting's download centre and download the Zoho Rooms - Display and the Zoho Rooms - Controller applications

 

Rooms Controller

 

Scan the QR code displayed in the download center or go to App store to download the Zoho Meeting app - Rooms Controller on your iPad or iPhone to use it as a controller for your meeting rooms.

 

Rooms Display

 

Install the Zoho Rooms Display application in your Windows or Mac OS device  to set up your virtual conference room.

Adding a room :

 

  1. Click Settings on the left pane.

  1. Navigate to Room Management and click Add Room

  1. Enter your Room's Name and Description

 

Pairing the Controller with Zoho Rooms Display :

 

  1. Scan the QR code displayed in the Zoho Rooms Display or go to the App store to download the Zoho Meeting - Rooms Controller on you iPad.

  1. Navigate to Room Controller under Settings in the Zoho Meeting app.

  1. Enter the 6-digit code in your controller.


To use the rooms feature, your firewall needs to be configured to allow port 9090


Connecting your room :
 

  1. Log in to your Zoho Meeting account in your browser or the desktop app.

  1. Click Settings on the left pane.

  1. Navigate to Meeting Rooms under Room Management.

  1. Enter the 12 digit activation key and the password for your desired room in the controller to connect your room

 

Using the Zoho Meeting - Rooms Controller App :

 


With the Rooms Controller app you can join or start a meeting and create a new instant meeting.

With the Rooms Controller app the host can :

 

  1. Mute/Unmute Audio

  1. Start/Stop Video

  1. Mute/Request to unmute all

  1. Record

  1. Invite participants

  1. End Meeting
