Using Meeting Chat
Let the conversation flow instantly during the meeting using the Zoho Meeting chat functionality powered by Zoho Cliq. This includes file sharing during meetings, reply a message, editing a message, sending emojis, and reactions.
Accessing Meeting Chat
- Start the meeting and click Chat in the meeting toolbar at the bottom.
- This will open the chat window. You can type a message into the chat box and hit enter to send it to all meeting participants.
- Click more
to send reply or react or to edit any messages.
- After editing, you can enable the checkbox to notify others about the changes if needed.
- If you receive new chat messages, you will get a sound notification and can see a red dot on the chat icon.
Share file in Meeting
- Start or join a meeting. Click Chat in the meeting toolbar.
- Click Share File (attachment icon), choose a file to send and click the Share button. You can share files up to 1023 MB in size.
- When the file is sent, participants can preview and download the attachments to their computer or mobile device.
View/Download Chat Transcript
To Auto-Save meeting chat transcript in Zoho Cliq, visit cliq.zoho.com.
Click Profile and Settings.
Click General > disable Hide chatlets created via Zoho Meeting. This will create a chatlet of your meeting within the Zoho Cliq interface.
The meeting host can see the chat transcript of all meetings under Zoho Cliq conversations with the meeting title.
To view/download chat transcript in Zoho Meeting, go to Resources under Past Meetings tab.
