Live streaming webinars on social media platforms is a great way to maximize your reach and connect with a broader audience. It enables viewers on platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn to engage with your webinar in real-time. Participants can comment, react, and ask questions, fostering interactive discussions and enhancing visibility for your event.
This feature helps you leverage the massive user base of these platforms to promote your brand and share your message with diverse communities.
Enabling Live Streaming for Webinars on Social Media Platforms
Log in to your account.
Navigate to Settings > Webinar in the left pane.
In the My Settings tab, enable Live Streaming.

To broadcast your webinars on YouTube Live
Start the webinar as an Organizer.
Click the More option from the toolbar > Live Stream > YouTube > Connect to YouTube
Sign in with your Google account and click Next.
Select Allow to provide permission for Zoho Webinar to access your Google account.
Enter the Zoho Webinar title to be displayed on YouTube.
Verify your Account Information.
Select the video accessibility:
Public : Videos can be seen by anyone on YouTube.
Unlisted : Videos can be seen and shared by anyone with the link.
Private : Videos can only be seen by you and the people who you choose.
Click the Go Live button. The progress bar will let you know that your session is being prepared for streaming.
Click the share arrow to access the video link. Copy the link to send it to your target audience.
Attendees viewing on YouTube can use the YouTube comment section to share their questions or thoughts. Live streaming will stop when you end the webinar.
To broadcast your webinars on LinkedIn and Facebook
The setup to configure a live stream on Facebook is the same as on LinkedIn. However, you can only stream live on one platform at a time.Start the webinar as an organizer.
Click the More option from the toolbar > Live Stream.
Select your preferred platform for live streaming: LinkedIn or Facebook.
Click the preferred live streaming platform
Once you have the URL and Key, click Configure.
Enter the Streaming/Server URL and Stream Key in the provided fields. Enter the Event Page URL for your LinkedIn/Facebook event or page where the live stream will appear.
Click Save to confirm the details. Once the setup is complete, click the Start Streaming button to start the live stream. Click the Go Live to start the live stream from the streaming platform.
During the webinar, attendees on LinkedIn/Facebook can interact in real-time through the comment section, sharing questions and feedback.
To end the live stream, click the Stop Streaming button.
Linking webinar to a LinkedIn Event:
By default, Zoho Meeting allows you to stream webinar directly to LinkedIn Live. However, if you want to link your webinar to a LinkedIn Event, follow these additional steps:
Create a LinkedIn Event
Go to LinkedIn Home page and navigate to Events.
Click Create Event
Select LinkedIn Live in Event format dropdown
Enter the required details and click Next
Click Post
Now, open this link in a browser to obtain the Stream URL and Stream Key
Under Manage streams, click Prepare to go live

Integrate the webinar session
Start the webinar as an organizer.
Click the More option from the toolbar > Live Stream.
Select LinkedIn for live streaming
Enter the Streaming/Server URL and Stream Key in the provided fields. Enter the Event Page URL for your LinkedIn/Facebook event or page where the live stream will appear.
Click Save to confirm the details. Once the setup is complete, click the Start Streaming button to start the live stream.
In LinkedIn, click Go live
Start the webinar as an organizer.
Click the More option from the toolbar > Live Stream.
Click Add Stream
Enter Destination name, Streaming/Server URL, Stream Key, and Event page URL
Click Save to confirm the details. Once the setup is complete, click the Start streaming button to start the live stream. Click the Go Live to start the live stream from the streaming platform.
To end the live stream, click the Stop Streaming button.
