Checklists in Zoho Notebook help you organize tasks, track activities, create shopping lists, maintain routines, and manage other actionable items. You can create a dedicated Checklist Card when you want a task-focused note or add checklists within a Text Card when you want to combine tasks with additional information.
As you complete items, simply check them off and continue tracking the remaining items within the same note.
To create a Checklist Card:
Once you've created a Checklist Card, you can manage individual items and organize the checklist based on your requirements.
Click or tap the checkbox next to an item to mark it as completed.
Completed items remain part of the checklist, allowing you to keep track of the items you've already finished.
Rearrange checklist items based on your priority or preferred order. Use the move option on the left side of an item to drag and drop it to the desired position in the checklist.
When you mark an item as complete, it is moved to the bottom of the checklist, keeping completed items separate from active items. This makes it easier to focus on the tasks that still need your attention.
You can uncheck a completed item to move it back to an active state.
This is particularly useful when working with reusable checklists such as shopping lists, packing lists, routines, and recurring activities.
You don't always need to create a separate Checklist Card. Zoho Notebook also lets you add checklists directly within a Text Card.
This allows you to combine regular text and other supported content with actionable checklist items in the same note.
To add a checklist to a Text Card:
You can continue adding regular text or other supported content before or after the checklist.
Checklists can be useful for a variety of personal, academic, and professional activities.
For simple, task-focused lists, use a Checklist Card. If your checklist requires additional context, instructions, or supporting information, add a checklist within a Text Card instead.
