Overview

The Zoho Notebook editor has been redesigned with powerful new capabilities to help you write, organize, and format your notes more efficiently. This update introduces smarter editing tools, advanced formatting options, improved checklist management, mathematical equation support, automatic diagram rendering, and several productivity enhancements, all designed to make note-taking faster, more flexible, and visually engaging.

Availability

The redesigned editor is available across supported versions of Zoho Notebook. Some capabilities may vary depending on the platform and app version.

Image Resize Support

You can now resize images directly within the editor without using external editing tools.

How to Resize an Image

  1. Open a Text Card. 
  2. Insert or select an existing image. 
  3. Drag the image corners or resize handles to adjust its dimensions. 
  4. Continue editing your note.

Inline Calculator

The editor now provides intelligent calculator suggestions while you type mathematical expressions.

How It Works

  4. Press Tab to insert the calculated result into your note. 

This allows you to perform calculations without switching to a separate calculator.

Generate a Table of Contents (TOC)

Long documents are now easier to navigate with the new Generate TOC option.

To Generate a Table of Contents

  1. Open a Text Card. 
  2. Click More Options (...) in the editor toolbar. 
  3. Select Add table of Contents. 


The editor automatically creates a Table of Contents using the headings present in your document.
