Filter, Sort and Font options
Notebook provides you with various filter and sort options to organize and find your notes quickly.
Before you begin
Please be aware of things for sort, filter, and font options in Notebook.
- You can have different sort and filter preferences for your individual views
- You can drag and drop your note cards to sort them in Notebook for iOS, Android, and Mac.
- Custom Sort sort order (Drag and drop sort) won't be synced across devices.
- Search and other views will have your notes sorted based on last modified time.
- Font availability is subject to the individual platforms. (Please confirm if this point is needed)
- You can't use different fonts for different note cards. Once the font is set it'll be applied to all your existing and future note cards.
Notebook offers seven types of sorting options for your notes and notebooks:
- Title Ascending
- Title Descending
- Created date (Newest first)
- Created date (Oldest first)
- Modified date (Newest first)
- Modified date (Oldest first)
- Custom Sort
Apply filters across your note cards and notebooks to find them easily. Notebook offers the following filter criteria for your notes:
- Text Card
- Checklist Card
- Audio Card
- Photo Card
- File Card
- Sketch Card
- Contact Card
- Link Card
- Reminders
- Locked
- Shared by me
- Favorites
You can filter your notebooks based on 'Shared by me' option.
Font options
Notebook provides you with a list of font options to choose from for your note cards. You can also determine the size of the font in your note cards. (Should we list all the fonts here or is this fine)
