Using Notebook in Slack
- Notebook for Teams is a free app available in Teams app source.
- You can associate only one Notebook account with your Teams account.
- You need to have a Zoho account associated with your Notebook to connect to Slack.
Connect Notebook and Slack
1. Open Slack desktop app or in browser.2. Sign in to your Slack account.3. Go to the 'Apps' section on the left side panel and tap '+'.4. Search for 'Zoho Notebook'5. Click 'Add'.
6. Click 'Add to Slack'
7. Click 'Add to Slack'.
8. Sign in to your Zoho Notebook account.9. Click 'Allow'.
10. Click 'Go to Slack'.
Save messages as notes
1. Hover over the chat you want to save as a note.2. Click More action.3. Click 'Add to Notebook'.4. Type a Title (optional) and choose a notebook to save that message as a note.
Share notes as messages
- Type the command '/notebook <search term>' in the Slack chat bar. (A list of notes containing the term will be displayed.)
- Click 'Post' on the note which you want to post as a message.
Create quick notes
- Type the command '/addnote <quick note content>'.
- Organize your quick note by choosing a notebook and giving it a title.
- Click Add.
Remove Notebook from Slack
- Go to the 'Apps' section on the left side panel and tap '+'.
- Look for Zoho Notebook and click Settings.
- Click 'Remove App'.
