Capture, view, and edit all your notes while you write your document within Zoho Writer. Create checklists, add images, and attach files as you work on your important document in Writer. You can associate notecards with a specific document and view all of the notes associated to the document. You can add your note content to any document and vice versa for effortless note-taking and writing content. All your notes created in Writer will be synced to all your devices automatically.

Install Zoho Notebook extension

 

  1. Navigate to > Marketplace > All.
  2. Search for and click on Zoho Notebook for Zoho Writer.
  3. Click Install.
  4. Verify your details, then click Install.







To use Zoho Notebook in Zoho Writer
 
  1. In the Writer editor, click the Extensions tab, then click the Zoho Notebook extension.



      2. All your notes will be listed for you to view and edit.
      3. Click the '+' icon to add a note, to-do list, an image, or a file.




Associate your notes with a document
 
  1. Click the More Options icon  () on a notecard.
  2. Click Associate. Your note will be associated with the document you're currently in.
  3. You can find the associated notes in Related Notes from the drop-down.
  4. You can disassociate your notes from the More Options icon.



Insert your notes into the document
 
  1. Click on the note and select the More Options icon.
  2. Click Add note to document.
  3. Your note content will be added to the document.



Insert your document content into a notecard
 
  1. Select the content and click on the notecard where you need to insert the content.
  2. Click the More Options icon and select Insert from document.
  3. Your document content will be added to the notecard.



Uninstall the extension:  
 
  1. Right-click on the Extensions tab.
  2. Click the More Options menu.
  3. Click Uninstall.
