Using Zia in Notebook
Notebook adds smartness to your note-taking with Zia, Zoho's homegrown AI assistant. Ask Zia to do a list of tasks in Notebook, get intelligent organization suggestions, and check your spelling and grammar.
Before you begin
- Zia Voice is present only in Notebook for iOS and Android
- Spell and grammar check powered by Zia is present only in Notebook for Web for Text Cards
- An internet connection is required for Zia to operate. Zia will not be available offline.
- Zia scans your notes to come up with smart suggestions but your data won't be given to advertisers or third-parties. Your data is yours and yours only.
Zia Voice
Activate Zia Voice with the two finger double-tap in Notebook mobile devices. Ask Zia to help you save content to Notebook, search your notes, set reminders, and more. Zia Voice can perform the following operations in Notebook:
- Add latest recipe from any website
- Email your latest note to <email address>
- List file cards in Notebook
- Set reminders in Notebook
- Save trending videos from YouTube
- Search for a specific string in your note cards
- Publish your note cards as a link
To use Zia Voice:
1. Double-tap with two fingers in the Notebook app
2. Ask Zia to do you any of the operations in Notebook via your voice command
3. Click the ? in left side to know the list of operations Zia can perform
4. You can also put Zia on hold or type your actions to Zia
You can also invoke Zia by going to Settings and click on Ask Zia
Zia suggestions
Organize your notes effectively with Zia. Zia smartly suggests notebooks and tags for your note cards based on its content.
Note: Zia Suggestions needs to be enabled in Notebook's settings to get smart suggestions
Spell and grammar check
Write without any worry in Notebook with the spell and grammar check powered by Zia. Zia uses advance machine learning to combine the rules of writing with your pattern and context of the sentence. Zia supports 80+ languages so that you can be confident as ever.
Spell check needs to be enabled to get suggestions for your notes:
1. Open Notebook web app and go to Settings
2. Click Yes for Spell Check under Note Cards.
To use spell and grammar check:
1. Open Notebook web app
2. Open any Text Card and click the spell checker icon present in the bottom
3. Zia scans your content and provides you with spell and grammar suggestions for your notes.
Even if you've turned off Spell Check you can get suggestions for your notes as an one-off option with the above mentioned steps.
