1. What is Zia? Where to find Zia in Notebook once activated?
Zia, the AI powered assistant, is already available in Notebook and has been helping Notebook users to perform various actions like search note, set reminders, email note and so on. Zia is now enhanced with the modern AI that converts your commands into actions related to content improvisation and create new contents by inserting images, codes, creating templates, translate and so on. Enabling Zia in your Notebook will enhance performance and help you stay more productive. Once Zia is enabled in your Notebook Profile, you can find it at the bottom of every notecard along with other notecard actions.
2. How to activate Zia in Notebook? Is this a paid feature?
Notebook's Zia is powered by Open AI. To enable the handshake between Zia and Open AI, an API key is essential. This key is obtained from the Open AI by giving your details in their platform directly. Use the key in Notebook to activate Zia. Zia is available in all the Notebook plans except for free plan. Notebook doesn't charge its users in this method, instead the billing is made in the Open AI platform directly depending on the query usage. 3. What is an API key?
API key is the token that authenticates your access to Open AI. Every query raised in Notebook, goes through an authentication process before an result is produced. In the authentication process, the Open AI must approve your request, carried via the API key, for it to provide you with the result it produces. 4. Can free plan users access Zia?
Zia is now available for paid users. Users under any paid plan will be able to access Zia once activated. This includes business plan users and students & educational institutions plan users.
5. What is the use of Zia in Notebook?
Zia performs its actions on the content which is already available in a notecard and also helps you generate new contents. Below are the list of actions that can be performed on the already available content and new content.
Content assistance:
Summarize: Shortens a lengthy content and gives a crisp summary using Open AI's ChatGPT
Complete this note: Analyzes the note content and completes the topic with a conclusion using Open AI's GPT-3
Make this longer: Adds more information to the content and makes it lengthier using Open AI's GPT-3
Improve writing: Suggests more relevant content to improve writing
Change tone: Changes the content tone to match the audience, such as
➤ Professional: Professional touch is given to the content to address the executive audience➤ Straightforward: The tone is set to deliver the motive of the message➤ Confident: The content is tuned to sound confident➤ Casual: A neutral tone is set to the content➤ Friendly: Content tone is modified to sound fun and friendly
Simplify Language: Removes jargons and simplifies content in an understandable form
Suggest Tags: Provides more relevant tags to the note content
Content creation:
Write a note: Provides content based on the topic given
Create checklist: Creates a checklist with the contents selected
Insert code: Inserts code in the selected area
Insert table: Makes the selected content fit inside a table view
Create template: Crafts a template with the contents chosen
Insert image (inside notecard and notebook cover): Gets the image from the Open AI's DALL.E in relevant to the query
The extras
Apart from the above actions, you can also ask Zia to perform other actions under the option 'Ask anything'. Here you can ask Zia to perform any action listed above along with more particular queries. For example, you can ask Zia to change a content to sound similar to Shakespeare's, solve an equation for you, and so on. Zia can come up with answers for queries which are unique to your needs.
6. How many queries can be created? Is there a limit?
There are no limits in query generation. You can use as many text and image queries as you need. The charge for each query is applied in your Open AI account and billing is done as per the charges.
7. How Zia works in notecards and notebooks
Zia, powered by Open AI, can be used in textcard and checklist card. You can ask Zia to make changes to improvise existing content or ask to create new content and insert code, table, and so on. In notebooks, you can change the notebook cover just by giving the picture description and asking Zia to bring up images.
8. Is Zia available in both mobile app and web app?
Yes, Zia is accessible on all the platforms where Notebook works. Just ask Zia to perform an action for you on one device and it will execute the same action on the notecard on all other devices where you are logged in to Notebook.
9. Is this feature available in all regions?
Zia is available on US Datacenter as of now. If you have logged into Notebook from the US region and have preferred language as English, you will be able to access Zia. Zia's availability on other datacenters will be actioned soon.
10. Can Zoho One users access Zia?

11. Is Zia enabled for Notebook Business plan users and Students & Educational Institutions plan users?
Zia can be accessed by both Business plan users and Students & Educational Institutions plan users. For Business plan users, the admin of the organization has the access to configure the Open AI generated key in Notebook. 12. Are the responses accurate?
Zia, powered by Open AI, analyses your query and provides results based on the query. It is advisable to be prudent with the results. Always check if the suggestions match your query.
13. Who owns the images?
Images that Zia presents you, either to use them inside notecards or as notebook covers, are fetched from Open AI's DALL.E. Hence, the images are owned by Open AI and Notebook only gets the images produced by DALL.E.
