Allow users to raise an app request

An admin is able not only to grant or deny app access to users, but also to decide whether users can raise access requests for apps in the first place. To allow users to raise access requests to unassigned apps:
  1. Select Allow for all apps from the drop-down menu if you want to provide your users with access to all apps. Otherwise, if you want just to allow access for specific apps alone, click Customize apps.

  1. Select the apps that you want to either allow or deny access to users. To grant users access to the selected apps, check the statement Allow users to request access to the selected apps. To restrict user access to the selected apps, check the statement Deny users to request access to the selected apps. Click Save.

  1. Select who you want to send notification mails to. Check at least one box from the drop-down menu.

Note: The mail will be sent only to the tagged recipients, but the members with appropriate permissions can also view the pending requests by clicking the bell icon at the top and also can approve or reject them. This is meant to avoid email flood by stopping mail notifications from being sent to everyone.
With the permission granted, users will now be able to request their admins for access to the apps which they are allowed to raise access request for.

To restrict users from raising access requests to unassigned apps: select Deny from the drop-down menu; this will remove the unassigned apps from the users' access and hence they will be unable to request access for those apps.
