Assign a Zoho One user to a device

Prerequisites  

Roles required to perform this action:
  1. Organization owner
  2. Organization admin

To assign a user to an enrolled device: 

  1. Sign in to Zoho One.
  2. Click Directory in the left menu. Go to Device Management, then click Device Authentication.
  3. Click the device you want to assign a user to.
  4. In the displayed pop-up, click Assign User.

  5. Select the user you want to assign to the device. The user's local account name should match the user name present in the device.

  6. Once you choose a user, the local account name field gets auto-filled with the one that their account was previously associated with. You can also edit it if you want. Then click Assign. See that if you enter a local account name that is not present on the device, a new one will be created with it.
 The assigned user can now access the device with the Zoho One password.
Note: You can only assign confirm users to an enrolled device. One user may be assigned to multiple devices, and vice versa.
