Lock device

When a device is misplaced or lost, you can lock the device remotely from the Directory, or sound an alarm in the device to locate it.
You can find which devices you can perform these actions for in the Device-security actions page.

Lock device

Once you lock the device, the user has to enter a passcode to unlock the device if it has been set previously.
In devices running iOS 7.0 or higher versions, you have the option of displaying a message and contact number on the lock screen.

The steps to lock device vary between the three User Interface versions supported in Zoho One. Select the UI version you from the tabs below and proceed with the steps that follow:

Spaces UI
Unified UI
One Experience UI
  1. Sign in to Zoho One, then click Admin Panel icon  on the top-right corner.
  2. Click Devices on the left menu.
  3. Select MDM, the Devices tab opens by default.
  4. Select the required device, then click the Meatball menu   on the right.
  5. Click Remote Lock.



  6. For devices running iOS versions 7.0 or later, enter the contact number and message to be displayed on the lock screen.
  7. Click Lock.
Spaces UI
  1. Sign in to Zoho One, then click Directory Settings icon  on the top-right corner.
  2. Click Devices on the left menu.
  3. Select MDM, the Devices tab opens by default.
  4. Select the required device, then click the Meatball menu    on the right.
  5. Click Remote Lock.



  6. For devices running iOS versions 7.0 or later, enter the contact number and message to be displayed on the lock screen.
  7. Click Lock.
Unified UI
  1. Sign in to Zoho One, then click Directory in the left menu.
  2. Go to Device Management, then go to the Devices tab.
  3. Click on the required device.
  4. Click Remote Lock.
  5. For devices running iOS versions 7.0 or later, enter the contact number and message to be displayed on the lock screen.
  6. Click Lock.
