Add OneLogin to Zoho One

Prerequisites

  1. Roles required in Zoho One to perform this action:
    1. Organization Owner
    2. Organization Admin
  2. Role required in OneLogin: Admin
  3. Plan required in Zoho One:
    1. Free plan
    2. Professional plan (if you want to add multiple directories)

In OneLogin

  1. Log in to your OneLogin account.
  2. Click Developers in the menu bar at the top and then click API Credentials.

  3. If you have already configured the API credentials, you can open the required one and copy the Client ID and Client Secret from it.
    If you haven't, you can create new API credentials by performing the following steps:
    1. Click New Credential.
    2. In the popup that appears, provide a Name for the API Credential and then select the Read All Objects permission.
    3. Click Save. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret in the next screen.
    4. Click Done.

  4. You have to paste these details later in Zoho One. (Refer Step 4 in 'Add OneLogin to Zoho One' section below). 

Add OneLogin to Zoho One

  1. Sign in to Zoho One, then click Directory in the left menu.
  2. Go to Directory Stores, then click Add Directory.
  3. Click Add next to OneLogin.
  4. On the API INTEGRATION section, enter the Domain NameClient ID and Client Secret copied from your OneLogin account. Where do I copy these details in OneLogin?

    Note: Make sure you perform the authentication in this screen without any errors for the import to proceed without a hitch. The Domain Name must not have 'https://' in it. Sample Format: zylker.onelogin.com
  5. Click Next.
  6. Map the fields available in Zoho One to the fields available in OneLogin. If you'd like all users synced from OneLogin to have the same value for a field, map that field with a hard-coded value. For example, if you want the value for the field 'Work Location' to be 'Delhi', then you can type Delhi as a value for the Hard-coded Value field.
    1. To map a hard-coded value with a field:
      1. Hover near the relevant field and click Edit.

      2. Click Hard-coded Value and then enter the value in the field.
      3. Click OK
    2. To map a custom attribute field created in OneLogin to a field in Zoho One:
      1. Hover near the relevant field and click Edit.
      2. Click Custom OneLogin attribute and then enter the shortname value copied from OneLogin.

        To get this shortname value, sign in to your OneLogin account. Go to Users and then click Custom User Fields. Copy the shortname next to the required Custom User Field that you want to map to Zoho One.
      3. Click OK.
  7. Click Save and Next.
  8. Under SETTINGS, choose how you want your users to receive their One Time Password.Note: Password Notification setting is only applicable to users' whose email address has a verified domain name.

  9. Once done, click Save and Next.
  10. Choose how the change in user status in OneLogin should be reflected in Zoho One.
  11. Click Save and Next.
  12. Choose how you want to sync users from OneLogin. You can either sync all the users or few users based on criteria in Zoho One. You can use custom attributes to set criteria. You can also set multiple criteria based on your needs.
  13. Click Save and Next.
  14. To set criteria, select a criteria from the options, choose a relationship, and enter the criteria's value as needed. While adding more than one criteria, you can also choose to enter it manually. Click Edit, enter your condition (whether OR or AND), and click Save.
  15. Once done, click Save and Import users.
  16. Import Users: OneLogin now allows bulk imports of users into Zoho One. All users (except deleted users) will be fetched and shown depending on the chosen criteria.
    You can either individually pick the users you need, or you can select all users. For the import to proceed without a hitch, the API key needs to be entered accurately during authentication.
  17. After selecting the required users, click Import.
  18. In the Import Status Page, click Done.
    If there are more than 200 users in OneLogin, the import will be staged, and it might take time to list the users. Once the users are imported, you can either view them or clear it for re-import. You can view the users' list in the Members menu.

Info: Once every 2 hours, all changes from OneLogin will be synced to Zoho One.
