General Settings page contains the sync and notification settings of directory stores configuration. The steps to edit such configurations vary between the two User Interface versions supported in Zoho One. Select the UI version you use from the tabs below and proceed with the steps that follow.
Spaces UI
- Sign in to Zoho One, then click
in the top-right corner.
- Go to Directory Stores, then click the required store.
- Under Info tab, click Edit next to General Settings.
- Under Mail Notification, choose whether users and admins can receive email notifications related to the integration. These mails include workflow notifications, user pending invitation mails, app account access notifications, delete/deactivate notifications, and conditional assignment notifications.
- Notify via mail: Users and admins will receive email notifications.
- Don't notify: Users and admins will not receive email notifications.
- If Notify via mail is selected, the Password Notification section appears,
where you can choose how newly synced users will receive their one-time
password.
- Send email OTP to user: Password mail will be sent to the user.
- Send email OTP to Admin: Password mail will be sent to the admin.
Don't notify anyone: In this case, the admin has to set password for the users individually and share them manually.
Password Notification setting is only applicable to users whose email
address has a verified domain name. If you want to include users whose
email address is from an unverified domain, then verify the domain and
come back to continue.
- Under Status Sync, choose what
should happen in Zoho One when users get activated, deactivated, and
deleted in the required store.
- Change in Zoho One: The changes made in source directory store get reflected in Zoho One.
- Do nothing: The changes won't get reflected in Zoho One.
Only
for
Group Sync feature-supported directory stores, the
Resource Sync section shown. Here, choose what resources (users, groups) have to be
synced from the source directory store to Zoho One. Click
Save and Next.
Unified UI
- Sign in to Zoho One, then click Directory in the left menu.
- Go to Directory Stores, then click the required store.
- Under Info tab, click Edit next to General Settings.
