Edit group and department details
The steps to edit group and department details vary between the two User Interface versions supported in Zoho One. Select the UI version you use from the below tabs and proceed with the steps that follow.
Spaces UI
- Sign in to Zoho One, then click
on the top-right corner. - Go to Groups, then click the group you need.
- Click Edit, then change the Group Name, Description, and Department Head as needed.

- Click Update.
Unified UI
- Sign in to Zoho One, then click Directory in the left navigation menu.
- Go to Groups, then click the group you need.
- Click Edit, then change the Group Name, Description, and Department Head as needed.

- Click Update.
Mobile UI
For iOS devices:
- Open the Zoho One app on your mobile device, then tap
in the bottom-right corner.
- To edit a collaboration group's details:
- Tap GROUPS, tap on the collaboration group which you want to edit.
- Tap
in the top-right corner, and edit the Group name and Description.
- Tap Save.
- To edit a department's details:
- Under GROUPS, tap on the department which you want to edit.
- Tap
in the top-right corner, and edit Department name, Department head, and Description.
- Tap Save.
For Android devices:
- Open the Zoho One app on your mobile device.
- Tap
in the bottom-right corner, then tap Groups.
- To edit a collaboration group's details:
- Tap on the collaboration group you want to edit.
- Tap
in the top-right corner, and edit the Group Name and Group Description.
- Tap SAVE.
- To edit a department's details:
- Tap on the department that you want to edit.
- Tap
in the top-right corner, and edit Department Name, Department Head, and Department Description.
- Tap SAVE.
