Integrate Zoho Expense with Zoho Projects

Overview

This integration allows you to fetch projects from Zoho Projects and record the project-related expenses in Zoho Expense. You can also import all the clients associated with projects as customers and record the project expenses in Zoho Expense

The steps to integrate vary between the two User Interface versions supported in Zoho One. Select the UI version you use from the tabs below and proceed with the steps that follow.

To enable the integration,

  1. Sign in to Zoho One, then click Admin Panel icon  on the top-right corner.
  2. Click App Management on the left menu, then select Integrations.
  3. Go to the Integrations tab.

  4. Click Expense, and go to the Available; all the available integrations will be listed.
  5. Click Enable against Projects.
Notes
Note: Integration will be enabled only after configuration is completed. Incomplete configurations will be listed under Pending Actions

To configure the integration,

Follow the steps mentioned in the link to configure.

To deactivate the integration,

  1. Sign in to Zoho One, then click Admin Panel icon  on the top-right corner.
  2. Click App Management on the left menu, then select Integrations.
  3. Go to the Integrations tab.
  4. Click Expense, and go to the Active tab.
  5. Click the kebab icon  against Projects, then click Deactivate.
  6. Read the confirmation message and click Deactivate.
Notes
Note: While performing sensitive actions, you will need to periodically re-authenticate.
You can activate the integration later by clicking Activate.

To delete the integration,

  1. Sign in to Zoho One, then click Admin Panel icon  on the top-right corner.
  2. Click App Management on the left menu, then select Integrations.
  3. Go to the Integrations tab.
  4. Click Expense, and go to the Active tab.
  5. Click the kebab icon  against Projects, then click Delete.
  6. Read the confirmation message and click Delete.
Notes
Note: Delete is an irreversible action.You will need to re-enable and configure the integration to use it again.

To enable the integration,

  1. Sign in to Zoho One, then click Directory Settings icon  on the top-right corner.
  2. Click App Management on the left menu, then select Integrations.
  3. Go to the Integrations tab.

  4. Click Expense, and go to the Available; All the available integrations will be listed.
  5. Click Enable against Projects.

  3. Click Integrations in the tab at the top. 

  4. Click the app you want to integrate with, then click Available; all the available integrations will be listed, click Enable.
