Disassociate profiles

You can disassociate a profile from a specific device or group. Once a profile is dissociated, the policies and restrictions configured within that profile will no longer apply to the selected device or group.
For example, if the profile had a passcode policy configured, it will no longer be applied to the device or group. Users will now be able to access their devices without passcodes.

The steps to dissociate a profile vary between the three User Interface versions supported in Zoho One. Select the UI version you use from the tabs below and proceed with the steps that follow:

  1. To disassociate the profile from a device:
    1. Sign in to Zoho One, then click Admin Panel icon  on the top-right corner.
    2. Click Devices on the left menu.
    3. Select MDM, then click Profiles tab.
    4. Click the Associated Devices tab.
    5. Hover over the right corner of the required device, then click Kebab menu  .
    6. Click Disassociate Profile.
    7. In the prompt, click Disassociate.
  2. To disassociate the profile from a group:
    1. Sign in to Zoho One, then click Admin Panel icon  on the top-right corner.
    2. Click Devices on the left menu.
    3. Select MDM, then click Profiles tab.
    4. Click the Associated Groups tab.
    5. Hover over the right corner of the required group, then click Kebab menu .
    6. Click Disassociate Profile.
    7. In the prompt, click Disassociate.

  1. To disassociate the profile from a device:
    1. Sign in to Zoho One, then click Directory Settings icon  on the top-right corner.
    2. Click Devices on the left menu.
    3. Select MDM, then click Profiles tab.
    4. Click the Associated Devices tab.
    5. Hover over the right corner of the required device, then click Kebab menu  .
    6. Click Disassociate Profile.
    7. In the prompt, click Disassociate.
  2. To disassociate the profile from a group:
    1. Sign in to Zoho One, then click Directory Settings icon  on the top-right corner.
    2. Click Devices on the left menu.
    3. Select MDM, then click Profiles tab.
    4. Click the Associated Groups tab.
    5. Hover over the right corner of the required group, then click Kebab menu .
    6. Click Disassociate Profile.
    7. In the prompt, click Disassociate.

  1. To disassociate the profile from a device:
    1. Sign in to Zoho One, then click Directory in the left menu.
    2. Go to Device management.
    3. Go to the Profiles tab, then click on the required profile.
    4. Click the Associated Devices tab.
    5. Hover over the right corner of the required device, then click .
    6. Click Disassociate Profile.
    7. In the prompt, click Disassociate.
  2. To disassociate the profile from a group:
    1. Sign in to Zoho One, then click Directory in the left menu.
    2. Go to Device management.
    3. Go to the Profiles tab, then click on the required profile.
    4. Click the Associated Groups tab.
    5. Hover over the right corner of the required group, then click .
    6. Click Disassociate Profile.
    7. In the prompt, click Disassociate.
