You can disassociate a profile from a specific device or group. Once a profile is dissociated, the policies and restrictions configured within that profile will no longer apply to the selected device or group.
For example, if the profile had a passcode policy configured, it will no longer be applied to the device or group. Users will now be able to access their devices without passcodes.
The steps to dissociate a profile vary between the three User Interface versions supported in Zoho One. Select the UI version you use from the tabs below and proceed with the steps that follow:
Unified UI
- To disassociate the profile from a device:
- Sign in to Zoho One, then click Directory in the left menu.
- Go to Device management.
- Go to the Profiles tab, then click on the required profile.
- Click the Associated Devices tab.
- Hover over the right corner of the required device, then click
.
- Click Disassociate Profile.
- In the prompt, click Disassociate.
- To disassociate the profile from a group:
- Sign in to Zoho One, then click Directory in the left menu.
- Go to Device management.
- Go to the Profiles tab, then click on the required profile.
- Click the Associated Groups tab.
- Hover over the right corner of the required group, then click
.
- Click Disassociate Profile.
- In the prompt, click Disassociate.
