Add security policy

In the mobile application:

For iOS devices:

  1. Open the Zoho One app on your mobile device.
  2. Then tap in the bottom-right corner, then tap Security Policies.
  3. Tap Add, then enter the Policy Name.
  4.  Under Enforced Groups, choose the groups the policy will be applied to.
  5. To prevent the policy being applied to certain users, add them under Exclude Users.
  6. Select the Policy Priority.
  7. Tap ADD.

For Android devices:

  1. Open the Zoho One app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap in the bottom-right corner, then tap Security Policies.
  3. Tap , then enter the Display Name.
  4. Choose the groups the policy will be applied to.
  5. To prevent the policy being applied to certain users, add them under Exclude User.
  6. Select the Policy Priority.
  7. Tap ADD.
    1. If you want to configure password policy, multi-factor authentication, or allowed IPs for the policy:
      1. Tap Configure.
      2. Check the options you want to include in the policy. The options displayed are listed below:
        1. Password Policy: Checking this option allows you to enforce certain conditions when users set their password.
        2. Multi-factor Authentication: Checking this option allows you to enforce multi-factor authentication when users sign in to their account.
        3. Allowed IPs: Checking this option allows you to limit users to sign in to their accounts from a specific IP address or IP range.
        4. Advanced Settings: This option enables you to manage users' web sessions.

    2. Otherwise, tap DONE.

In the web application:

  1. Sign in to the Zoho One, then click Directory in the left menu.
  2. Go to Security, click Security Policies, then click Add Security Policy.
  3. Name the policy, then choose the groups that the policy will be applied for.
  4. To prevent the policy from being applied to specific users in the chosen groups, add them under Exclude Users.
  5. Choose a policy priority. The new policy will be placed above the chosen policy.

  6. Click Add. Once the policy is added, click on the policy to configure it.
