Assign apps using conditions

Prerequisites

Roles required:
Organization Owner/Admin

To assign apps using conditions: 

The steps vary for the User Interface versions supported in Zoho One. Select the UI version you use from the tabs below and proceed with the steps that follow.

  1. Sign in to Zoho One, then click  on the top-right corner.
  2. Go to Portals, then click on the Apps tab.
  3. Click the required app, then click Conditional Assignment.
  4. If you want to assign apps using condition to everyone:
    1. Go to Everyone tab, then click All members under Rule setting.
  5. If you want to filter clients based on criteria, choose Clients matching criteria under Rule setting. To set the criteria:
    1. Choose an attribute to filter clients by.
    2. Set the value for the criteria and the relationship between the attribute and the value.
    3. Click Assign.
  6. Select Also apply condition to existing clients.
  7. Click Assign.

  1. Sign in to Zoho One, then click Directory in the left menu.
  2. Go to Portals, then click on the Apps tab.
  3. Click the required app, then click Conditional Assignment.
  4. If you want to assign apps using condition to everyone:
    1. Go to Everyone tab, then click All members under Rule setting.
  5. If you want to filter clients based on criteria, choose Clients matching criteria under Rule setting. To set the criteria:
    1. Choose an attribute to filter clients by.
    2. Set the value for the criteria and the relationship between the attribute and the value.
    3. Click Assign.
  6. Select Also apply condition to existing clients.
  7. Click Assign.
