Add security policy
In the mobile application:
For iOS devices:
- Open the Zoho One app on your mobile device.
- Then tap
in the bottom-right corner, then tap Security Policies.
- Tap Add, then enter the Policy Name.
- Under Enforced Groups, choose the groups the policy will be applied to.
- To prevent the policy being applied to certain users, add them under Exclude Users.
- Select the Policy Priority.
- Tap ADD.
For Android devices:
- Open the Zoho One app on your mobile device.
- Tap
in the bottom-right corner, then tap Security Policies.
- Tap
, then enter the Display Name.
- Choose the groups the policy will be applied to.
- To prevent the policy being applied to certain users, add them under Exclude User.
- Select the Policy Priority.
- Tap ADD.
- If you want to configure password policy, multi-factor authentication, or allowed IPs for the policy:
- Tap Configure.
- Check the options you want to include in the policy. The options displayed are listed below:
- Password Policy: Checking this option allows you to enforce certain conditions when users set their password.
- Multi-factor Authentication: Checking this option allows you to enforce multi-factor authentication when users sign in to their account.
- Allowed IPs: Checking this option allows you to limit users to sign in to their accounts from a specific IP address or IP range.
- Advanced Settings: This option enables you to manage users' web sessions.

- Otherwise, tap DONE.
In the web application:
- Sign in to the Zoho One, then click Directory in the left menu.
- Go to Security, click Security Policies, then click Add Security Policy.
- Name the policy, then choose the groups that the policy will be applied for.
- To prevent the policy from being applied to specific users in the chosen groups, add them under Exclude Users.
- Choose a policy priority. The new policy will be placed above the chosen policy.
- Click Add. Once the policy is added, click on the policy to configure it.
