{app_name} is a paid account in {app_name}. To map this account in Zoho One, you need to upgrade your Zoho One account.
Description
You may encounter this error when you sign up for a Zoho One trial account and add a paid standalone app to it. Your data from the paid app will not be migrated to the Zoho One trial account unless you upgrade to a paid Zoho One subscription.
Reason
This is because the features offered by a paid standalone app may not be supported in the Zoho One trial plan. Let's consider a scenario: Joanna has an admin account in Zoho Projects, and she has just upgraded it to an Enterprise plan. She has added 50 users to her account. Now, when she signs up for a Zoho One trial account with the same email address as that of her Zoho Projects account, she will be asked whether Projects should be added to Zoho One during the initial setup. Even if she does choose to add it, the data from that app will not be migrated as the Zoho One trial plan only allows 10 users, and her app has 50 users in it. When she tries to open her Projects app in Zoho One, the above message will be shown.
Solution
You will need to upgrade your Zoho One trial plan in order to access your paid app. To map the paid standalone app account to Zoho One:
- After the setup, click Directory in the left navigation menu.
- Go to Applications, then hover over the paid app.
- Click Request access, then click Upgrade in the pop-up message that appears. You will be redirected to the Zoho Store page.
- Upgrade your Zoho One trial plan to one of the paid plans.
After the upgrade, go back to Zoho One. The data from the paid app will have been migrated.
