Troubleshooting - User Management | Admin Guide - Zoho One

At least one administrator is required in {app name}

Description

You may encounter this error when you are trying to deactivate a user.

Reason

This error will occur because of the following reasons:
  1. The user is the only service admin in an app:
    Most apps in Zoho One must have at least one service admin. If the user you're trying to deactivate is the only service admin in an app, then you will get this error.
  2. The user is the owner of an app:
    Most apps in Zoho One require a dedicated app owner who holds special privileges in the app. If the user you are trying to deactivate is the owner of an app, then you will get this error.
