1. Roles required to perform this action: Organization Owner or Organization Admin.
   
2. Confirmed users in your organization.

Steps to generate backup code

1. Sign in to Zoho One , then click Directory in the left menu.
   
2. Click Users from the left menu, then click on the user for whom you want to generate a backup code.
   
3. Click , then click Generate Backup Code. You can copy the displayed backup code to your clipboard and share it with the user. The user can use this code only once to sign in to their account.
   
   
   

You cannot generate backup code for 

1. users with unconfirmed (with an Yet to Verify tag) verified-domain email address. Once the user approves it, the email address can be used to perform the action. 
2. users with mobile number and not an email as their primary email. You can contact the user to generate the code themselves at accounts.zoho.com.
