Configure SAML in Zoho One/Directory

If you're a Zoho One user:

1. Sign in to Zoho One, then click Directory in the left menu.
   
2. Go to Marketplace, then click Browse Applications.
   
3. Use the search bar to find and install AppDynamics.
     
   

If you're a Zoho Directory user:

1. Sign in to Zoho Directory, then click Admin Panel in the left menu.
   
2. Go to Applications, then click Add Application.
   
3. Use the search bar to find and add AppDynamics.
   
4. Enter the Display Name and Account Name.
   

   Your Account Name is the first part of your AppDynamics URL. If your URL is "zylker.saas.appdynamics.com/controller", your Account Name will be "zylker".
5. Check Display app to users if needed.
   
6. Click Add.
   
7. Click on the Single Sign-On tab.
   
8. Click Service Provider Details to check and verify the SP details. You can also edit them, if needed.
   
9. Click Identity Provider Details, then copy the Issuer, the Sign-in URL, and the X.509 Certificate.
   
   

Configure SAML in AppDynamics

1. Sign in to your AppDynamics account as an administrator.
   
2. Click Settings  , then click Administration.
   
3. Go to the Authentication Provider tab, then click SAML.
   
4. Paste the previously-copied Sign-in URL in the Login URL field, the Sign-out URL in the Logout URL field, and the X.509 Certificate in the Certificate field.
   

Test the SAML connection

1. Return to the Zoho Directory Admin Panel.
   
2. Go to Applications, then click AppDynamics.
   
3. Click Assign Users, choose yourself from the list, then click Assign.
   
4. Click on the icon next to the app's name. If everything is working, you should be automatically signed in and taken to AppDynamics's homepage.
