Overview
Tools provides a centralized space to view and manage all your assigned and unassigned applications in one place. By bringing all essential applications together in a single, convenient location, the Tools section simplifies app management, enhances organization, and boosts productivity.
This includes:
- My Tools
- Unassigned Tools
In the My Tools section, you can manage and access both your custom and Zoho applications. You can also:
- Access application
- Reorder your applications
- Explore Mobile Apps
- Filter and download mobile apps based on stores
- Explore Browser Apps
- Filter and install browser extensions based on browsers.
- Add Applications (if your account has the necessary permissions)
The Unassigned Tools tab displays the available applications that haven’t been assigned to you. This section is visible only to users with the Raise App Request permission. You can also
- Request apps
- Add applications (if your account has the necessary permissions).
Sign in to
Zoho One, and click the

icon on the top of the screen. Here, you’ll see a grid view of your available applications.
Click an app to open and access it directly from this page, or use the search bar at the top to locate a specific app.
Alternatively, if you are an admin, you can access Tools from Directory Settings.
Click

in the top-right corner, then click
Applications, then
Tools.
To reorder applications,
- Hover over the application you want to move, then hold and drag the icon to arrange it in your preferred order.
Users can reorder applications only if the admin grants the Reorder modules within spaces permission enabled from Controls within the directory setting.
You can view and install mobile applications available from various app stores, such as the Play Store, App Store, and Microsoft Store.
Click Explore mobile apps within the Tools, then click View All to display the list of available apps. You can use the search box to find the mobile app you need or use the filter option.
To filter the applications by store, click

Click the Download button and select the preferred store.
Click Copy Link to copy the app’s download URL, then paste it into your browser to download and install the app on your mobile device.
Alternatively, you can click on the app to be redirected to the appropriate app store (Google Play orApp Store), where you can download and install it on your mobile device.
You can browse and install browser extensions supported by different browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
Click Explore browser extensions within the Tools, then click View All to display the list of available extensions. You can use the search box to find the required extension or use the filter option.
To filter the extensions by browser, click

The browser you are currently using to access Zoho One will be selected automatically. To remove this filter, click Remove Filter.

After locating the desired app, click Install and select your preferred browser, and you will be directed to the corresponding page to add the extension.
Request apps
- Click Request next to the application you need. The request will be sent to the administrator for approval, which they can accept/reject from the notification panel within the directory setting.
The status will appear as Pending Approval until it is reviewed.
Adding Apps
- Users with Add App permissions can add applications directly by clicking Add next to the desired app. After it’s added, the application will appear in the My Tools tab for quick and easy access.
