Configure cookie/privacy consent banner on your website
Zoho PageSense uses cookies to run tests and track visitors' information on your website. These cookies are placed on your visitor's browser to store information, such as the device used or browser OS, while users access your website pages. This data is further used to identify if a website visitor is a new or returning user, and if they are part of your A/B test, funnel analysis, heatmap, goals, or any other experiment types. As PageSense is strictly committed to the transparency and choice of users being tracked by us, we provide the Privacy settings to notify users that their behavior is being tracked via website cookies, along with the options to either opt in or opt out from them. From the next visit, based on the cookie opt in or opt out selection made by your visitors, their identity and user data will be tracked or blocked on your experiment pages. To enable cookie notification to visitors:
Click Project Settings in the top-right corner and then the Privacy tab. Choose from any of the following options you want to notify your visitors about the cookie-based tracking in PageSense:
Do not notify: Visitors will not be shown a banner informing them that they are being tracked with cookies.
Yes, notify them without providing an option to opt out: Visitors will be shown a banner informing them that they are being tracked with cookies.
Yes, notify them and provide an option to opt out: Visitors will be shown a banner informing them that they are being tracked with cookies. An option to agree to or opt out of this cookie-based tracking will be provided.
