Analyze your mobile app performance at a glance

The Mobile Dashboard in Zoho PageSense provides a consolidated view of your mobile app's performance. It brings together user, session, engagement, event, device, platform, and geographic insights in one place, helping you understand how users interact with your app over any selected time period. The dashboard updates in near real time as your mobile app sends events to PageSense, allowing you to continuously monitor user activity, measure engagement, and identify performance trends without switching between multiple reports.

Overview

The Mobile Dashboard summarizes your app's key performance indicators through interactive charts and reports. You can:
  • Monitor overall app usage.
  • Track user engagement over time.
  • Measure event performance.
  • Analyze acquisition channels.
  • Identify popular devices and operating systems.
  • Understand your audience's geographic distribution.
  • Filter reports by application and time period.

Dashboard metrics

The summary cards at the top of the dashboard display your application's primary engagement metrics.


Users
Sessions
Average sessions per user
Average session length
Users
Total unique users who used your app during the selected period.
Sessions
Total number of app sessions recorded.
Average sessions per user
Average number of sessions generated by each user.
Average session length
Average duration users spend in your application during a session

Performance over time
The Performance over Time report visualizes how your application performs across the selected date range.



Use this report to:
  • Track user growth trends.
  • Monitor session activity.
  • Compare engagement across days, weeks, or months.
  • Identify usage spikes after releases, campaigns, or feature launches.
You can switch between:
  • Users
  • Sessions
  • Average sessions per user
This helps you quickly identify changes in overall application engagement.

Performance by events
The Performance by Events report displays how frequently tracked mobile events occur over time.



This report helps you:
  • Measure feature adoption.
  • Compare custom events.
  • Monitor conversion events.
  • Identify the most frequently performed user actions.
Select View all events to analyze every tracked event in greater detail.

Performance by user acquisition channels
The Performance by User Acquisition Channels report shows where your app users originated.



Use this report to:
  • Compare acquisition sources.
  • Measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Understand which channels drive the highest user activity.
  • Evaluate the quality of incoming traffic.

Performance by device and platform
This report helps you understand which devices and operating systems your users rely on.
The report includes:


Platforms
View the percentage of users across supported platforms, such as:
  • Android
  • iOS
  • iPadOS
Devices
Identify:
  • Most frequently used device models
  • Operating system versions
  • Device distribution across your user base
These insights help validate compatibility across different hardware and software environments.

Performance by country
The Performance by Country report displays where your users are located using an interactive world map.



For each country, you can view:
  • Users
  • Sessions
  • Average sessions per user
  • Percentage change compared to the previous period
This report helps you:
  • Identify regions with the highest app usage.
  • Measure geographic growth.
  • Evaluate regional engagement trends.
  • Plan localization and marketing efforts.

Filter dashboard data
The Mobile Dashboard allows you to customize every report using built-in filters.



Date range
Choose the reporting period for all dashboard widgets.
Examples include:
  • Today
  • Last 7 Days
  • Last 30 Days
  • Custom Date Range
Apps filter
If multiple applications are configured within your project, use the Apps filter to display analytics for one or more specific applications.

Audience segments
Apply saved audience segments to analyze dashboard metrics for a specific group of users.
For example, you can view analytics only for:
  • Returning users
  • Premium users
  • Users from a particular country
  • Users who completed a specific event
Refresh the dashboard
Click the Refresh icon to load the latest processed analytics. Although the dashboard updates automatically as PageSense receives new visitor data, you can manually refresh it whenever required.
