View your website performance from the Web Dashboard

View your website performance from the Web Dashboard

The Web Dashboard gives you a consolidated view of your website's visitor activity, engagement, acquisition, and conversion metrics. Instead of switching between different reports, you can use the dashboard to monitor your website's overall performance from a single page.
The dashboard is updated automatically as PageSense processes new visitor data, allowing you to monitor your website's activity in near real time. You can also change the date range or apply an audience segment to analyze data for a specific period or group of visitors
NotesNote: The dashboard starts displaying data only after the PageSense tracking snippet is installed on your website and visitor activity has been recorded.

Before you begin

Before you can view analytics in the Web Dashboard:
  • Install the PageSense tracking snippet on your website.
  • Allow PageSense to collect visitor data.
  • Create goals if you want to track conversion metrics.

Filter dashboard data

Before reviewing your analytics, you can customize the dashboard to display the data that matters most to you.

  1. Select a date range
Use the Date Range selector in the upper-right corner to analyze website performance for a specific period. All dashboard widgets update automatically based on the selected date range.
  1. Filter by audience segment
Click Segment Audience to filter dashboard data for a predefined audience segment. This lets you compare website performance for a specific group of visitors instead of your overall traffic.
  1. Refresh the dashboard
Click the Refresh icon to load the latest processed analytics. Although the dashboard updates automatically as PageSense receives new visitor data, you can manually refresh it whenever required.

The Web Dashboard is divided into several widgets, each designed to provide insights into a different aspect of your website's performance.
