Frequently asked questions about pricing plans and payment information | Zoho PageSense.

Pricing plans and payment

1. How much do PageSense plans cost?
PageSense offers a Forever Free plan and two paid plans — Professional and Enterprise — priced based on the features you need and the number of monthly tracked users.
  • Forever Free — $0, forever. Includes up to 5,000 monthly tracked users across 1 project, with 1 month of data retention and up to 5 goals. Gives you access to core analytics features: web analytics, mobile analytics, goals, funnel analysis, heatmaps, session recording, and form analytics.
  • Professional — Starts at $20/month (billed monthly) or less with the annual plan (save up to 40%). Supports 10,000 to 1,000,000 monthly tracked users, 3 projects, 6 months of data retention, 30 goals, and 30 custom dimensions. Includes everything in the Free plan, plus polls, web push notifications, mobile push notifications, and pop-ups & banners.
  • Enterprise — Starts at $49/month (billed monthly) for 10,000 monthly tracked users, with the same flexible visitor scaling. Includes everything in Professional, plus A/B testing, split URL testing, full stack testing, and personalization. Supports 10 projects, 12 months of data retention, 50 goals, and 50 custom dimensions.
Annual billing saves you up to 40% compared to monthly billing. You can find the full pricing breakdown and feature comparison on the PageSense pricing page.
Need to track more than 1,000,000 visitors? Write to us at presales@zohopagesense.com and we'll set up a custom plan for you.

2. Is there a free trial? Do I need a credit card to sign up?
Yes — no credit card required. Every new user gets a 15-day free trial with full access to all Zoho PageSense features and a limit of 5,000 monthly tracked users across 3 projects. You can explore the entire product before deciding on a plan. Payment information is only required when you choose to subscribe to a paid plan.

3. Is there a permanently free plan?
Yes! Zoho PageSense now offers a Forever Free plan at no cost, with no time limit. It includes up to 5,000 monthly tracked users, 1 project, 1 month of data retention, and the core analytics features (web analytics, mobile analytics, goals, funnel analysis, heatmaps, session recording, and form analytics). It's a great starting point for individuals and small teams just getting started with CRO.

4. What will happen when my free trial ends?
All experiments currently running in your PageSense account will be paused, but you'll retain complete access to your experiment configurations and reports for up to 90 days. You can subscribe to a paid plan at any time — even during your trial — to re-launch existing experiments and create new ones.

5. What types of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal. For yearly subscriptions, we also accept bank transfers and check payments. For billing-related queries, reach out to presales@zohopagesense.com.

6. How are monthly tracked users counted?
Zoho PageSense uses cookie-based tracking to count monthly users. However, counting works differently depending on which pricing plan you're on:
  1. New pricing plan (Free, Professional, Enterprise)
Regardless of how many times a visitor comes to your site in a given month, they are counted only once — as long as their browser cookie remains intact. If a visitor clears their cookies, they may be counted again on their next visit.
  2. Old pricing plan (Standard, Professional, Enterprise)
Unique visitors are counted per experiment. For example, if the same visitor is part of three different experiments in a month (such as a heatmap, funnel analysis, and A/B test), that visitor is counted three times — once for each experiment.
To learn more about how PageSense tracks visitors and manages cookies, refer to the PageSense Cookie Policy documentation.

7. What happens if I exceed my monthly tracked user limit?
Once you reach 80% of your visitor limit, we'll notify you by email so you can renew or upgrade. When you reach 100% of the limit, all running experiments will be paused, but you'll still have access to your configurations and reports. You can purchase a top-up plan at any time to resume tracking without losing any data.

8. Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan at any time?
Yes. As the account owner or admin, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan whenever you like. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades are applied at the end of your current billing cycle, so you continue to have full access to your current plan's features until then.

9. What happens if I downgrade or cancel my subscription before the billing period ends?
You'll be charged for the entire billing cycle, but all features in your current plan will remain available to you until the cycle closes.
Note: If you're on our old pricing plan (Standard, Professional, or Enterprise), please be aware that any upgrade or downgrade action will automatically shift your account to the new pricing plan (Free, Professional, or Enterprise). Your data and experiment configurations will remain intact through this transition.

10. I'm on a yearly plan. How will I be billed?
You'll make a single one-time payment for the full year, based on your chosen visitor count. Once activated, the total tracked user count for the year is added to your account upfront. For example, if you choose 10,000 monthly tracked users on an annual plan, 120,000 tracked users (10,000 × 12) will be credited to your account immediately. There's no monthly cap when on an annual plan.
11. Will I have access to my data if I downgrade my plan?
Yes. You'll retain access to all your experiment configurations and reports after a downgrade. If you have more active projects than your new plan supports, experiments in the extra projects will be paused. Zoho PageSense lets you choose which projects to keep active, so you stay in full control of your data.

12. What happens to my data after I cancel or delete my account?
Data retention after cancellation depends on your plan at the time of cancellation:
  • Trial plan — data retained for 90 days
  • Professional plan — data retained for 6 months
  • Enterprise plan — data retained for 12 months

13. How do I downgrade if I'm on a yearly subscription?
Annual plan settings are locked within the interface once activated. To adjust your plan, write to our support team at support@zohopagesense.com and they'll assist you directly.

14. What happens to my PageSense account after a payment failure?
If a payment is declined, we'll send up to 5 reminder emails at 3-day intervals, prompting you to update your payment details or retry the transaction. If the payment remains unresolved after all reminders, your account will be automatically moved to the Forever Free plan. The account owner can manually re-subscribe to a paid plan at any time by updating their payment information.

15. How do I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Only the account owner or admin can change the plan. To do so:
  1. Click your Profile picture at the top-right corner of your PageSense account.
  2. Click Upgrade from the dropdown.
  3. Select the plan you want to move to — either a higher tier, a lower tier, or a different visitor count.

16. How do I find my invoices for in-app or yearly payments?
As an admin or account owner, you can request copies of payment invoices or receipts by writing to our Payments team at payments@zohocorp.com.

17. Where can I check my current plan details and usage?
  1. Click your Profile picture at the top-right corner of your PageSense account.
  2. Click My Space and select the Space you want to check.
  3. Click the Usage tab to view the number of projects created, tracked users consumed, and the remaining validity of your plan.

18. Does PageSense offer discounts for nonprofits, startups, or educational institutions?
Yes — we offer special discounts for nonprofit organizations. Write to us at presales@zohopagesense.com or more details.

19. Does PageSense have a refund or cancellation policy?
PageSense does not have a standard cancellation or refund policy. However, if you'd like to cancel your subscription, write to us at support@zohopagesense.com during your plan usage and we'll offer a prorated refund for the remaining days of your subscription.

20. Will I get a dedicated account manager when I subscribe to a paid plan?
Yes. Once you subscribe to a paid plan, we'll assign you a dedicated point of contact who will work closely with you to ensure the best experience with Zoho PageSense.

21. I'm on a monthly visitor plan for a project I haven't launched yet. Will the visitor quota be consumed anyway?
Yes — your monthly tracked user quota is consumed regardless of whether you've launched any experiments or received any tracked visitors under PageSense reports. The visitor limit is also not carried forward; it resets each month.

22. Can I set separate visitor limits for each project in my account?
No. The monthly tracked user count in your plan is shared across all projects in your account. It's not possible to bucket or allocate a fixed visitor limit per project.

23. I'm a Zoho One user. Do I get access to PageSense?
Yes. If you're a Zoho One subscriber, you get access to PageSense at no additional cost. However, please note that visitor count will be unique to each module for Zoho One Bundle users. To find out which features are included under your Zoho One subscription, refer to the Enterprise plan features on our PageSense pricing page or write to us at presales@zohopagesense.com.

24. How do I pick the right plan?
Start with the 15-day free trial — it gives you full access to all features with no credit card required. If you're just getting started with website analytics and CRO, the Forever Free plan may be all you need. For teams that want to improve visitor engagement with polls, push notifications, and pop-ups, the Professional plan is the right fit. For teams running experiments, A/B tests, and personalization campaigns, go with Enterprise.
You can also book a free 1-on-1 demo with our product experts for a personalized walkthrough and plan recommendation.

25. Why does my account still show the free trial as expired even though I've paid?
If you've subscribed to a paid plan but your account still shows the trial as expired, write to us at support@zohopagesense.com and we'll resolve it for you promptly.

26. Why am I unable to upgrade my PageSense account?
Only the account admin can upgrade or downgrade a PageSense account. If you're not the admin, please reach out to them to make the change. You can learn more about user roles and access privileges in the PageSense Help Center.
