General Settings in Zoho PageSense

General settings

The General section in Settings provides an overview of your project’s essential information and subscription details in Zoho PageSense. It helps you quickly identify the configuration of your project and monitor how your current subscription plan is being utilized.

This section is particularly useful for administrators and project owners who want to review project identifiers, verify data hosting details, and track plan usage such as the number of projects, visitor limits, and subscription duration.

NotesNote: The Settings icon is located in the top-right corner of your PageSense interface. From this icon, you can access Project Settings, which includes the General settings page.

The General settings page contains two main sections:

  • Project Info

  • Subscription

Each section provides important information about your project and its associated plan.

Project Info

The Project Info section displays the core identification details of your PageSense project. These details help you verify that your project is correctly configured and associated with the right workspace and infrastructure.

This information is especially helpful when managing multiple projects within the same organization, as it allows you to easily identify the project and confirm that tracking and experiments are connected to the correct environment.

The following information is displayed in this section:
Space Name
  1. The Space Name represents the workspace or organization under which your PageSense projects are created and managed.
  2. A space acts as a central environment where teams can organize and manage multiple projects for different websites or applications. For example, organizations that manage multiple brands or domains can create separate projects within the same space.

Project Key
  1. The Project Key is a unique identifier automatically generated by Zoho PageSense for every project.
  2. This key plays an important role in linking your project to the PageSense tracking system.
  3. Because the Project Key uniquely identifies your project, it ensures that all collected data and experiment activity are mapped correctly within the platform.

Data Center
  1. The Data Center indicates the regional server location where your project’s data is hosted and processed.
  2. PageSense stores and processes visitor behavior data within specific regional data centers to ensure reliable performance, secure storage, and compliance with data governance policies.
  3. This information helps you confirm the hosting region associated with your project and ensures that your analytics data is being processed within the correct infrastructure.

Overall, the Project Info section serves as a reference point for verifying the identity and configuration of your PageSense project.

Subscription

The Subscription section provides a detailed overview of the plan currently associated with your PageSense project. It allows you to monitor usage metrics and understand how much of your subscription capacity is being utilized.

This section helps you track important usage limits and determine whether your current plan is sufficient for your website’s traffic and experimentation needs.

You can view the following metrics in this section:
Projects

The Projects metric displays the number of projects currently being used compared to the maximum number of projects allowed in your subscription plan.

Example:
2 / 3 Projects

This means that 2 projects are currently active out of the 3 projects supported by your plan.

Monitoring this metric helps administrators understand how many projects are still available for creation within the same subscription.

Visitors

The Visitors metric shows the number of visitors tracked during the current billing cycle compared to the visitor limit allowed by your subscription plan.

Example:
35,000 / 50,000 Visitors

This indicates that 35,000 visitors have been tracked out of the total 50,000 visitors supported by the plan.

Tracking visitor usage is important because PageSense analytics, experiments, and engagement campaigns depend on visitor data. Monitoring this metric ensures your project remains within the allowed limits.

Time Remaining

The Time Remaining field displays the number of days left in the current subscription cycle.

Example:
296 days left

This helps you understand the remaining duration of your active subscription before renewal or expiration.

Monitoring the remaining time allows teams to plan subscription renewals and upgrades accordingly.

Managing Your Subscription

If your website traffic increases or your team requires access to more advanced experimentation, analytics, and personalization capabilities, you can upgrade your subscription plan directly from the Subscription section.
Zoho PageSense offers multiple plans designed to support different levels of experimentation and optimization needs, including:
  • Free plan – Suitable for small websites or teams getting started with experimentation and analytics.
  • Professional and Enterprise plans – Designed for growing businesses that require higher visitor limits, advanced experimentation capabilities, and expanded optimization features.
Upgrading your plan allows you to:
  • Track higher visitor volumes
  • Create more projects and experiments
  • Access advanced optimization and personalization capabilities
  • Scale experimentation efforts across multiple websites or applications
For a detailed breakdown of the features and limits available in each plan, refer to the Plan Comparison – Free, Professional, and Enterprise Editions help documentation.
Info
By reviewing the General Settings page regularly, you can ensure that your PageSense project is correctly configured and that your subscription plan continues to support your website’s optimization and experimentation needs.
