Install the PageSense code snippet on Prestashop
Zoho PageSense is a software used for website testing and optimization that lets you measure your key website metrics, understand your visitors' online behavior, and give them a personalized website experience to boost conversions. To use PageSense with Prestashop to start tracking deeper visitors metrics on your websites, you must first configure the two-line snippet code to your online site. This installation setup is made much easier using the steps explained below. Once you add the tracking code, you can run A/B experiments, launch polls, set up heatmap, funnel analysis, and more for your Prestashop eCommerce stores.
To install Zoho PageSense's code on all the pages of your Prestashop site:
1. Open your Zoho PageSense account on the web browser, click Snippet tab on the top bar and click Copy to copy the code for your Project.
2. Log in to your Prestashop account on the web browser.
3. Paste the PageSense code snippet copied in Step 1 above inside the the.tpl file in your Prestashop template. You can do this by pasting the JavaScript inside the {literal} {/literal} tags.
Make sure you add the code snippet to a template file that is shown on all pages you wish to run experiments (such as the header.tpl).
Note: You can verify if the code snippet is installed on your web page successfully by entering the experiment URL in the Verify Your URL section of the Snippet page in Zoho PageSense account as shown in the figure below.
