Google Sheet Integration for Pop-ups

Google Sheet Integration for Pop-ups

Google Sheet integration enables you to automatically export pop-up responses from Zoho PageSense to a Google spreadsheet. Each response submitted through a pop-up is added as a new row in the connected sheet, allowing you to store, organize, and analyze visitor responses without manually exporting data.

Availability

You can access the Google Sheet integration from either of the following locations:

Method 1: Integrate Google Sheets from the Pop-up Configuration

You can connect Google Sheets directly while configuring a pop-up.
Step 1 : Navigate to Engage and choose Pop-ups, open the required pop-up, and go to the Configuration step.

Step 2 : Scroll down to the Add Integrations section and enable the Google Sheets toggle for integration.

Step 3 : If the integration has not been configured previously, you'll be prompted to authenticate your Google account.

Once the authentication is complete, all responses submitted through the pop-up are automatically synced to the connected Google Sheet.

Method 2: Integrate Google Sheets from Settings

You can also configure the integration from the Settings page before using it in a pop-up.
Step 1 : Navigate to Settings > Connect Services > Integrations and select Google Sheets from the list of available integrations.

Step 2 : Click Install, review the permission prompt, and click Continue.

Step 3 : Next, click Proceed to authenticate your Google account and complete the authorization process.

Step 4 : After the integration is successfully connected, the Install button changes to Disconnect, indicating that the integration is active.

You can then navigate to any pop-up, go to the Configuration step, scroll to the Add Integrations section, and simply enable the Google Sheets toggle to start syncing popup responses to Google Sheets.
NotesNote: To remove the Google Sheets integration from a specific experiment, pause the running experiment and disable the Google Sheets toggle in the Add Integrations section of the experiment's Configuration page.

If you want to completely remove the integration from your PageSense project, navigate to Settings > Connect Services > Integrations and click Disconnect. This revokes the current connection, and you'll need to click Install and authenticate your Google account again to reconnect the integration in the future.

What data is exported?

The integration can export the following information:
  • Form field responses
  • Name fields
  • Email addresses
  • Submission timestamp
  • Source URL
  • Custom fields added to the pop-up
Each submission is recorded as a separate row in the spreadsheet.

How response data is organized

  • Every pop-up response is added as a new row.
  • Each form field is stored in a separate column.
  • New fields added to the pop-up are automatically created as new columns in the spreadsheet.
  • Existing response data remains unchanged.
Notes
  • You must have access to the Google account used to configure the integration.
  • Previously exported data remains available in Google Sheets even after the integration is disabled or deleted.
  • Responses collected before the integration is enabled are exported automatically.
  • If the integration is deleted, it must be installed again before it can be used with new pop-ups.
  • A pop-up must be paused before the associated integration can be deleted from the project.
