Sometimes you’ll want to look at the customer response on your website based on a specific date or date ranges rather than all the cumulative data. For example, you might want to produce a monthly report on customer satisfaction to share with your support team or you might want to view the feedback received in the last 30 days about a newly released product on your shopping site. In PageSense, you can choose to filter and compare your responses between different periods of time or show only responses over a specific time period using the options explained below.
To filter the polls response by date range:
Click the Calendar icon at the top-right corner and select any of the following:
Today, yesterday, or last 7 days for which you want to view a poll's report.
Entire duration: This option shows you all responses throughout the entire time your poll has been running.
Last 30 active days: This option filters the poll's data to just the last 30 days.
Custom range: This allows you to manually enter an exact start and end date (for example: 1/4/20 to 1/15/20 ) for which you want to view the poll responses.
See how different groups of customers responded to your website poll by sorting your report based on user parameters like new visitors, returning visitors, desktop or mobile users, URL source, location, and much more. For example, sometimes you may just want to view and export only the responses of users from a certain geographical location like the United States, or you might want to filter out people who are first-time visitors on your website. This type of audience filtering helps you focus only on the needed visitor groups so you don’t waste time and marketing effort on respondents who don’t match. Once you’ve applied your filter, your report will automatically update to show you the responses that match your criteria. You can also save this filter for later use.
To filter and view responses by audience segments:
1. Click the Segment Audience button at the top-right corner and choose the Smart or Advanced options on the left.
Smart segments: This option provides you a list of predefined audience segments in PageSense.
Advanced segments: This option allows you to create your own custom audience segment in PageSense.
2. Choose the specific audience segment for which you want to view responses and click Apply.
