How to create click on element goal for a/b test in Zoho PageSense| Help Guide

Add a click on element goal to your variation

Once you are done optimizing your web page, you can test and track how many visitors clicked on an HTML element on your variation such as CTA buttons (Sign Up, Add to Cart, Download, etc.), menus, navigation bars, videos, images, and other elements by creating the Click on Element goal type right from your A/B visual editor. This type of goal helps you track if the modifications made to your web page encourage the user click a button or element, and to obtain the higher conversions in your A/B test reports compared to your original version.

To create a click on element goal:
1. Go to the GOALS tab in your A/B test (or split URL test) and click + New Goal.

2. Choose Element Clicks on the left pane, then enter a descriptive name in the text box.

3. Enter the selector IDs of the element you want to track in the Selector and click Save.
You can add multiple selector IDs separated by a comma.
For example, you want to track visitor clicks on the 'Contact Us' CTA button on your experiment page. In this case, the Element Clicks goal helps track visitors coming to your experiment pages and counts it as a conversion whenever a visitor clicks the CTA element.

Alternatively, you can select elements directly from your page by clicking on the link below the text box.

4. Click Next to proceed with the remaining settings in your A/B or split URL testing.
You will be able to track these conversions and analyze your visitor metrics for the set goal in the REPORTS tab of your experiment.
