Run A/B (or Split URL) test for Google Adwords traffic

In PageSense's A/B and Split URL tests, in addition to the predefined set of target audience segments such as direct visitors, mobile or desktop visitors, and new or returning visitors, you can also create custom audience segments to target visitors coming from your Google ad groups and ad campaigns. This type of testing helps you understand what works best for visitor segments from Adwords and create customized web pages dedicated to users of an ad group. 
For example, consider having a Google AdWords campaign running for a weekend sale. Using PageSense, you can target your variations only to the visitors coming from AdWords to show the best offers and deals for the weekend. Furthermore, you can analyze the test reports to determine which and what worked best for this specific set of visitor segments.

To create a custom audience segment from Google Ads:

1. Open your A/B or split URL test and go to the CONFIGURATION tab of the test.

2. Navigate to the Add Integrations section at the bottom of the page and enable the Google Ads integration. Learn more about integrating Zoho PageSense with Google Ads.

3. Navigate back to the AUDIENCE tab of your test and click + Custom Audience



4. Enter a name and description for your custom audience segment in the text box, and further perform the following steps that you require:

  • Select Ads Campaign from the Segment dropdown if you want to target audience at the Campaign level or Ad Groups if you want to target audience at the ad group level.

  • Select equals or not equals as required in the Modifier dropdown.

  • Choose the campaign or ad group you want to include from the Value dropdown.



5. Finally, click Save Audience and then Next to proceed to the next steps.
