Many A/B experiments involve making minor changes or updates to existing content on your website to help encourage users to take specific actions. This might include adding a catchy headline on your home page to briefly explain what your product or service is or converting longer blocks of text into bullet points to fit within the page limits. With the PageSense visual editor, you can add new pieces of text in minutes and edit them when required without enlisting the help of your developers. You can then test these variation pages against the original page to see which one works best for your target audience.
To add a text in a variation:
1. Select your A/B experiment and click the EDITOR tab at the top.
Your test page will open in the PageSense Visual Editor.
2. Hover over and then click on the area you want to add new content.
The action bar will appear on the page.
3. Click Insert from the menu list, select Insert text and choose where you want to add text, either before or after the existing content.
4. Type your new content into the text editor and click Apply. You can also apply various formatting and styling options to the text using the toolbar.
5. Click Save and Next on the top right corner to save the changes.
