Configure Zoho MCP for PageSense

Zoho MCP (Model Context Protocol) enables you to securely connect AI assistants such as Claude, Cursor, Visual Studio Code, and other MCP-compatible clients with Zoho PageSense. Once connected, your AI assistant can securely access the PageSense tools you've configured to retrieve reports, analyze visitor behavior, and perform supported actions using natural language.

Create an MCP Server

  1. Open mcp.zoho.<your data center>.

    • For example, mcp.zoho.com for the US data center.

  1. Enter a name for your MCP server, then click Create to create the MCP server.

Your MCP server is now ready for configuration.

Add PageSense Tools

After creating your MCP server, configure the PageSense tools you want your AI assistant to access.

  1. Click Add Tools.

  1. Search for PageSense and select from the search results.

  1. Choose the tools you want to make available.

  1. Click Add Now.

The selected tools are added to your MCP server.

InfoTip: Add only the tools required for your workflow. This helps improve security and limits access to only the capabilities you intend to expose.

Connect Your AI Client

After adding the required tools, connect your preferred AI client.

  1. Click Connect from the left navigation pane.

  1. Select your preferred AI client and ollow the on-screen instructions to configure the connection.

Zoho MCP currently supports:

  • Claude

  • Cursor

  • Visual Studio Code

  • Other MCP-compatible clients using HTTP (Streamable HTTP) transport

Authorize Your Account

After configuring your AI client, the client prompts you to authorize access to your Zoho account.

  1. Click Authenticate. Your browser opens the Zoho authorization page.Review the requested permissions.  Select the confirmation checkbox.

  2. Click Allow.

After authorization is complete, your AI client can securely communicate with Zoho PageSense using the tools you've configured.

Start Using Zoho MCP

Once the connection has been established, you can interact with PageSense using natural language.
For example, you can ask your AI assistant to:
  • Summarize Web Analytics for the last 30 days.
  • List active A/B tests.
  • Show the highest exit pages.
  • Review Funnel Analysis.
  • Summarize Poll or Popup responses.
  • Analyze Session Recordings for visitors who abandoned checkout.
  • Suggest optimization opportunities based on visitor behavior.
The available actions depend on the PageSense tools you've added to your MCP server.
