How does Labour Union Representative management work in Zoho People?

Adding a Representative

NOTE

Only Administrators have access to view/add/edit Labor Union Representative-related records.

1. Navigate to Operations and select the Attendance service.
   
2. Select the Labor Union Representative tab.
   
3. Click on the Add Representative buton.
   
   
4. Use the drop-down menu to select the representative type.
   – If you choose Internal, select an employee from within your organization.
   – If you choose External, enter the representative’s details such as name, email, and address.
   – If you choose Internal & External, select an internal employee and also provide the external representative’s details.
   Proceed by defining the representative tenure by using the date-range selection options.
   
   
   
   
5. Click on Add Record 
   The Labor Union Representative record will now be successfully added.

NOTE
For the same tenure, you will not be able to add multiple records. 

Managing Labor Union Representative Records

Follow the steps below to manage Labor Union Representatives in the system.

1. Navigate to Operations and select the Attendance service.
   
2. Select the Labor Union Representative tab.
   Here you can add, view, edit all past, present and scheduled labor union representative records.
   
   
   
   A labor union representative’s tenure status can be Active, Scheduled, or Expired. If a current representative’s tenure is nearing its end and no successor has been scheduled, Zoho People will send you a reminder to add a new record.

Click on the More option button (ellipses) icon to view options to Export, Download as PDF, and Print records. You can also use Filter option if necessary. Hover pointer over a record to reveal delete and multi-select options.

Clicking on a record allows viewing a single-record and opens up option to Edit a record (pencil icon). The audit history of edits will be caputured and can also be viewed by clicking the audit history icon. It's also possible to Print individual records.

Viewing Labor Union Representative Details and Timeline

Labor Union Representative details in reference to any overtime policy can be viewed when selecting a spcific overtime policy configured in Settings > Attendance > Configuration > Overtime Policies

Clicking on the View Labor Union Representative button displays the timeline with tenure and representative details. Enable the checkbox to include past representatives data.
