Manage Exceptional Working Days
What is meant by Exceptional Working Days in Zoho People?
An exceptional working day can be declared when employees are required to work due to exceptional circumstances, such as meeting an important project deadline. It is added for employees belonging to a specific location or shift.
Viewing and adding exceptional working days
To view and add exceptional working days go to Operations > Leave > Exceptional Working Days tab.
- Use the filter icon (
) to filter the displayed records.
- Use the Add button to add an exceptional working day.
- Enter a name and select the date.
- Select the applicable location or shift, if it is only applicable for specific shift employees within a location, this can be achieved by using the Add Criteria button.
- Enter a description if required.
- Click Submit.
> Exceptional working days can only be declared on weekends.
> Once a weekend is declared as an exceptional working day, It will be considered as a working day by the system (for the applicable employees).
