Onboarding - Automation

Automation in Zoho People Onboarding service allows you to customize related notification templates and other advanced automation functions.

Notifications

You can customize the following notification templates for the Onboarding service:

Welcome Email to Candidate
Welcome Email to Employee
Onboarding Reminder

Enable or disable the Welcome Email to Employee and Onboarding Reminder as per your organizational preference.

To customize any of the above notification template:

Navigate to Settings > Onboarding > Automation > Notifications, and click Edit Template.
In the message section make necessary changes to the template.

To add new default from address, navigate to Settings > Manage Accounts > Organization Setup > From Addresses and Add Email From Address. Upon adding you can find the new default from address in the email From address dropdown.

Click Edit Email Template and select the available merge fields form the dropdown to insert in the body of your notification template.
Add attachments if you would like to send any attachments through notification.
Click Save.
You have customized the email template and the same will be used in any upcoming notifications.
