Trigger Employee Onboarding
Once the Candidate onboarding is completed the administrators can convert the Candidate to Employee. Upon conversion, the candidate will be added as User in Zoho People.
You can also skip the Candidate Onboarding (pre-onboarding) process by adding users directly into Zoho People, and trigger the Employee Onboarding process on their date of joining. To add users directly, refer to
Add Users.
To trigger Employee Onboarding:

If you have enabled Automatically initiate onboarding process, the employee onboarding will be automatically triggered on the date of joining of the employee. This setting is available on Settings > Flow > Employee Onboarding > Preferences.
- Navigate to Operations > Employee Information > Employees.
- User the filter option to see the records for whom the employee onboarding is not triggered.

- Click the employee record for whom you would like to trigger the onboarding process.
Ensure that the date of joining and designation is defined for the employee and close the record view.

The employee's date of joining is mandatory to trigger the onboarding process. If the employee's designation is defined, the corresponding onboarding process is triggered. If the designation is not defined, the onboarding process defined for all employees will be triggered.
- Select the employee record from the list view and click Trigger Onboarding.

Employee onboarding is triggered for the selected employees and initiated on their date of joining. Employees should log in to Zoho People to complete their onboarding process.

If Restrict access to Services is enabled in Onboarding Settings, employees cannot access Zoho People services without completing the onboarding process.
