KRA Settings

Notes
What is KRA?
KRA (Key Result Area) encompasses the essential tasks required to fulfill job responsibilities and meet organizational objectives. It's vital that KRAs are clearly defined, specific, and measurable, outlining ongoing responsibilities and the purpose and benefits of fulfilling them. Goals can also be aligned with KRAs and assessed accordingly.

Configuring KRA Settings

Watch our help video on KRA settings and permissions

To configure KRA Settings, navigate to Settings > Performance > Configuration > KRA.

  1. Access Permissions:
Grant access to employees and reporting managers to view, add, tag/edit, delete KRAs. For example, in your organization, if you wish to authorize the reporting manager to add KRAs for their reportees, you can enable the Add checkbox here.
    Notes
By default, only the administrator has access to add, tag, edit, delete KRAs.
  2. KRA Library: Allow users to create organization-wide KRAs
This option allows employees to add their KRAs to the organization's KRA library, which can be tagged to all employees within the organization.

  1. Approvals:
Enable an approval process for adding and tagging KRAs. The approval process can be customized. For example, in your organization, if you want the managers to approve adding or tagging KRAs, then this option will be useful.
  2. Weight:
Enable Weight to define weightage for KRAs, you can limit maximum KRA weight to 100%, enable weightage range, mark as mandatory, and sort KRAs by weight.
    Info
For example, a KRA with a weight of 90 is of more significance than a KRA with a weight of 50.

How KRA Weightage Range Work?

Weightage range allows you to define a limit while adding a KRA, and lets users set a weightage within that range during assignment. For example, a weightage range of 60–80 allows users to assign a KRA weightage between 60 and 80.

Set a value between the range while tagging a KRA to employee.
