Additional Options in Timesheet Settings

The Additional Options tab includes settings related to pay preferences, password protection for exported files, specifying which time logs are pushed to the attendance service, and set permission on viewing and editing Employee Rate Per Hour (RPH) in jobs and projects.

Configure Additional Options

To configure additional options in timesheet service, navigate to Settings > Timesheet > Additional Options.

Pay preferences 


Include paid leave in payroll calculation: By enabling this option, all paid leave hours or days will be included in the timesheet data  for payroll report.



Include non-billable hours in timesheet data for payroll report and timesheet payable hours calculation: Enable this option to include non billable hours in timesheet data for the payroll report and in total payable hours during timesheet submission.

Include only approved time log hours: Enable this option to include only approved time logs in the time sheet data for payroll report. Any unapproved or pending entries will be excluded,

Password protection for file export

Enable this option to add a password to all exported files, such as time logs, timesheets, and reports. The password will be emailed to the user who exports the file.


Integrations

This integration syncs time logs with the attendance service.









Logged using a timer: Select this to push timer-based time logs to attendance. When employees start and stop a timer to track their working hours, those entries will be reflected in their attendance records automatically. 



Logged by entering the start and end time: Select this to sync time logs that are manually recorded using the option Start and end time with the attendance service. These ensure that all manually entered work hours are reflected in their attendance records automatically. 

Employee rate per hour (RPH) permissions

The RPH permissions setting allows you to set permission on who can view and edit the employee’s hourly pay rate for jobs and projects.
  1. Only employees in the same job or project can view and edit each other’s RPH
  2. Employees can view and edit their own RPH and their reportees' RPH
  3. Only admins, project managers, and project heads can view and edit RPH
